The band marched at several out-of-town parades with the firemen last summer. In August a concert was given on the football field, at which there was a large attendance. During the football season we worked very hard on the pre-game and half-time marching shows. This received much local acclaim. During our concert season we rehearsed and played some of the best music for band. Some was very serious music, taking a lot of practice; some was light and gay. On March I we went to Bainbridge to play a concert at their school. The last of March we gave a concert, the theme of which was ''Fantasy in Mu– sic." Several of our members went to play in the All-State Band and the Sus– quenango League Festival Band for which we were host school. Some students went to contests and received fine ratings. 5R
