CARROLL POTTER Senior Class Student Council Representatives: NANCY RAY JACK REYNOLDS JOYCE TRUESDALE Richard Ellsworth Vice President The Student Council, under the leadership of its President, Eugene Lobdell, enjoyed another successful and active year. One of the main undertakings of the council this year has been the laying of a foundation for the establishment of a Deposit Central School Chapter of the National Honor Society, the national high school honor society formed to provide recognition for achievement in the fields of scholarship, leadership, and service. The Student Council seeks to fulfill the following purposes: to develop the ability of students to govern themselves, to develop in its members qualities of leadership, to help create good school spirit, and to work for the general welfare of the 5chool. 38
