As in the days of old people looked to the Manor House for advice and inspiration so, today, the young people of our Community look to Chenango Valley High School. As undergraduates we have planned our courses with the future in mind. In our time in history the practical side of life has been increasingly important. We desire to take no back-seat when knowledge, wisdom and capability is demanded of us. But there is another side of greater importance: our relationship to God and our fellow man. Here we learn the importance of cooperation, consideration for others through our activities and our many sports. Through these we hope to learn and to understand the meaning of leadership. As we will some day lead so today we follow the leadership of our faculty. These men and women help us to under- stand our capabilities and our aptitudes that we may some day benefit from their leadership and advice. Through their encouragement and their experience we are about to graduate as Seniors and to go on as representatives of an outstanding school: Chenango Valley High School. To help us in the future to recall these happy and profitable days, we, the Staff, present the Warrior, the Yearbook of 1959.
