The "S.S. Honor Society" steamed into the North High port this year with Marilyn Germond at the helm; Judy Gevert as First Mate; Second Mate, Joyce Anderson; and Gerry lewis as Keeper of the Ship's Treasure. While in port, the ship drafted a tide of ensigns who were initiated in an impressive ceremony. These recruits, who are outstanding in character, serv– ice, leadership, and scholarship, must maintain a 4.25 average until their Senior A term on board when it may drop to 4.00. The advisors on the deck are Mr. Charles Konecny, Miss Rosemary Carroll, Mr. Michael Segrue, and Miss Barbara Quinn. The club sponsors noon hour dances and provides ushers for the assemblies.
