All Teed Offl!! Golf is not one of the most popular or well known sports, but that's because most people don't have the chance to play it. "My goal is to make it to the state tournament and be the best I can be." said Steve Baca who is on the varsity golf team. The Del Norte golf team's season started January 24 and meets begin at the end of March through May. The knights hard schedule consists of prac– ticing every weekday from 3:00 until dusk, with a number of meets and tour– naments. On this years squad there are 7 returning lettermen, but only 2 fresh– men.
