Team-Unity Jennifer Lauder, Mich– elle Grier, and Barbara McGee wait for their game to start. Teamwork is Key Del Norte High School should be very proud of its 1993-94 Lady Knights Vol– leyball team. Although their final record did not display a winning season, their success "digged" much deeper. The Lady Knights have been go– ing through many changes over the past two years. A new coaching staff and the loss of several strong players has caused a great struggle for the team. However, each year the Ladies gain more talent, Senior Amy Te– beck leaps in the air for a spike. Lady Knights try hard in a game against Valley. team work and success. This season, the Lady Knights gained something that the volleyball team had not had for many seasons– TEAM-UNITY. The never ending desire to win was em– phasized this season because the team was so close and wanted to succeed as a whole. "I wish that this was not my last year on the team", said senior Heather Scott "I have been with the team for three Volleyball years now and finally feel like we have found the key to suc– cessful teamwork." > Amy S.
