Returning Letterman: Rhonda Madrid, Melisa Ellis, Kelli Hackett, Jean Yates, Lisa Jaramillo, Jennifer Barela Varsity Cheer– leaders Lisa Jarmillo , Suz– anne Albert and Rashelle Ellison strike a pose. Cheerleaders The Varsity Cheerleaders got off to a great start. They took fifth place in Regionals which took them to Anaheim, Califor– nia to compete in the ACUNa– tional Competitions in March. The cheerleaders are deter– mined to do their best and hope to place in the top ten. Sophomore Rashelle Ellison said, "I think that going to Na– tionals will be a good experi– ence for us, we will be able to see different squad perform from all over the nation and see the different things and way other squads do." The Varsity Cheerleaders al– so put in a lot of time at school.
