Writing can be Hard Work 25 creative and artistic stu– dents make up the Accolade. This is a class of hard working students. The Accolade is a literary magazine, which takes poems and pictures from stu– dents at Del Norte. These po– ems show their feelings. Mrs. Wood is the sponsor for the Accolade. She has been teaching the Accolade for the past 8 years. The Accolade is an award-winning magazine. It has won many awards such as the New Mexico Journal– ism Educational Association Award. Nancy Hamilton and Cbara Poolaw are taking a little break from all their hard work from co-editors. "The '94 Accolade is one of the best Del Norte has ever produced," said Mrs. Wood.
