8 Senior Class History In the fall of 1952 nine pupils first made their entrance into the assembly as the new high school freshmen . This group included Dennis Anderson, Pauline Nelson, Kathleen and Geraldine Butler, Linda Skjerseth, Rosemarie Jonas, Gordon Bina, Jean Lierbo, and Gerald Charbonneau . This was the first year in the Brocket School for Rosemarie, who previously attended Sauter and for Gordon who recently moved here from Lankin. However, before we were really accepted into high school, we were made victims of the crucial ordeal known as initiation . Our sophomore year found everyone back except Jean Lierbo, who left with her parents for Balfour, North Dakota . All returned to start as juniors, except Gerald·, who attended Lakota High School. And now we, the senior class, Dennis Anderson, Pauline Nelson, Kathleen and Geraldine Butler, Gordon Bina, Linda Skjerseth, and Rosemarie Jonas approach the time of our departure from the school where we have been so long. We all join together in saying farewell to our teachers, our friends, and to all who had a part in making our school days so wonderful and complete . It has indeed been a pleasure to attend school in Brocket .
