The girls on the gymnastics team began the season with high hopes of taking the city champion- ship; however, their hopes were dimmed by a heartbreaking loss of their meet with Southwest by less than a point. Captains S. Lamb and S. Schow lead the team. Outstanding performers were: floor exercise, L. White, D. McGuire, J. Mortenson, bars, S, Schow, L. Johnson, D. Dahl- gren, balance beam, L. White, S.
