88 The 1976-77 Girls' Basketball team was led by Sr. Co. Captains Jeanne Vestal and Karin Schluck at the guard positions. Kathy Anglim at center with Chris Ramerth and Babette Hester at the forwards position. Sr. guard Judy Heichert and freshman forward Karlene Robinson continually pushed for and won starting positions at different times during the year. This group of girls start- ed together three years ago and continued to im- prove and were one of the best teams in Minnea- polis. The only games lost, except the second North game, were lost in the last few seconds or in overtime. Babette Hester leads the team in scoring with a 15 point average. Chris Ramerth and Kathy Anglim are the best rebounders. The girls played a 16 game schedule this year, the same as the boys. Spirit and determination was evident in every practice and game.
