Roosevelt High School 1977 Yearbook (Minneapolis, MN) - Full Access

The Cross Country team was led by captains Paul Karpinski and Paul Peters; Karpinski selected all city, and Peters ran 4th in the city meet. The team lacked experience, but hard work and many hours of practice brought tremendous improvement. Seniors Dan Wismer and John Diefenthal along with junior transfer Duane Burkas and Sopho- mores David Sharp, Steve Brooks, Tom Grammes, Steve Hagstrom led the team to a 5th place finish in the city.
