Debate requires hard work, dedication, nerves of steel and the kind of togetherness necessary to fit five people into the back seat of Ms. Webb's car. Having unique ex- periences and meeting people from other schools makes everything worthwhile. This year's exciting resolution: "That a compre- hensive program of penal reform should be adopted throughout the United States." Speech season begins where debate ends. Original oratory, Humerous interpretation, and Creative expression are just a few of the catagories open to speech team com- petitors this season.
