Various Student Council Activities Help Dierre and J. P. The Dynamos that make the council hum . Under the guidance of Mr. John Pichotta, the 1971-1972 Student Council lead a very active and succe ful year. Through the help and hard work of the Student Council officer Dierre Puumala, pre i– dent; Baylee Lavick, vice-president; Nancy Orlich secretary-treasurer; and the class delegate the coun– cil' achievements were numerous. Student Council wa the force behind many ac– tivities at CHS including powderpuff port , Twirp Week, Viking Ba ketball, the Ski Banquet, Cloquet Clean-Up Day and many more. The council made available to anyone in the community an Arctic Seminar and a political caucu . In addition to the activitie pre ented to the CHS tudent body, Student Council al o obtained a Stu– dent body, Student Room, bulletin board, ugge - tion box and adopted a reorganizing plan that v. ill be put into affect next year.
