Class Advisors We the members of the January 1959 graduating class dedicate our Pictorial to Miss Marion Davis and Mr. Edwin Kulesza. Miss Davis was born in Bayshore, Michigan. Upon receiving her Masters Degree at the University of Michigan and Detroit Teachers' College, Miss Davis came to Southwestern in 1921 to begin her career of teaching. Mr. Kulesza was born in Hamtramck, Michigan. He attended Alliance College in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, where he received a B. S. degree in chemistry. Postgraduate work at Wayne St;lte University and the University of Detroithasalsobeena part of his educa– tion. Mr. Kulesza came to Southwestern in Se!,)tember, 1955. These two teachers have shown deep interest in the activities and problems of our class. Miss Davis andMr. Kulesza will long be remembered fort' eir friend– liness, kindness, thoughtfulness, and encouragement bestowed upon us. We are happy that we had this oppor– tunity to dedicate our Pictorial to them. Born in Michigan, Miss Williams re– ceived her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1936 at Wayne University and her Masters Degree in 1943 at the Univer– sity of Michigan. Miss Williams started teaching at Southwestern in 1951. Mrs. Pemberton was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Receiving her degrees at Wasll,ington University and Wayne Uni– versity, she began teacring at South– western in 1936. We will always remember them, not only as teachers, but as friends. We are indeed happy to have had the privilege of having Miss Williams and Mrs. Pember– ton to direct and guide us. We hupe that our sponsors will continue their good work with the future classes and be as understanding with them as they were with us. As a class we have enjoyed their cheer– fulness and kindness, which we will long remember.
