This year's girls' basketball team did not do as well as they had expected. The team started its season with a victory over Redford. Unfortunately, the Comettes failed to gain another victory for the completion of the season. The varsity season ended with a record of one win and five losses. The reserve basketball team completed its season with an identical record; one win and five losses. The lone victory was also over Redford. Coach Lois Hosmer, along with the rest of Cody's girls' basketball fans, is hoping for a better season next year.
