the development of verbal facility. Language Clubs have been organized with the primary pur– pose of giving students wider experience in using a particular foreign language. Films are shown at club meetings, plays are read, and national festivals are commem– orated. Students are expected to use the language of the particu– lar "club" during the meetings.
