With only two returning lettermen, Captain Bill Newton and Chuck Mene– fee, the '62 golf squad will find it hard in matching the records set in past seasons. Up to 1961 Paul Clifford's "lashers" have captured 15 of 31 6-A titles, 8 of 11 Regional titles, and 4 of 7 State titles. With power, incentive, and leader– ship, the '62 team hopes to have an un– defeated season. Although using a new medal Nassau scoring system this year, the team will be striving to make a clean sweep of all honors, and help the school win the All-Sports Trophy.
