The Electric Circus Swings Mr. Kee lar patiently awaits to ring the victory bell for CHS. The kickoff of the Electric Circus was the Mudbowl, where junior-senior rivalry was displayed. "Senior power" came through with a 6-0 victory over the jun- iors. Homecoming night brought the pa- rade, complete with marching bands, homecoming court, and :float entries. People, hand in hand, twisting and turning, no not shing-a-linging, but par- ticipating in the fun filled Snake Dance. Led by the JV cheerleaders, the snake wound from downtown back to the school where everyone was greeted by the huge bonfire. School spirit rose with the :flames, and the bonfire is recognized as a mem- orable event of the Circus. The finale of the event was the dance under the "big top", with music by the Gents. The refreshment booths expressed class individuality and the decorations created a circus-like atmosphere. FAR LEFT: A gigantic cardinal won first place for the Juniors in the float competition. LEFT: The first annual mudbowl proved to be a very dirty game. 87
