Crowning Is the Highlight of Hom.ecom.ing Flowergirl, Maggie Reynolds, and crownbearer, Adam Smith, share the excitement of the Homecoming parade with Christy. 84 The highlight of Homecommg 1968 was the crowning of Nianne MacDonald as queen. Donna Snow, last year's queen, tradi- tionally assisted Mayor Pillsbury in the ceremony. From the sideline, the new queen, Cecil Mosier, Karen Haynes, Christy Foss, Karen Smith, and their escorts, Quinn Berry, Charlie Van Aken, Bill Bobier, Dave Pierce, and Tim Davis, cheered the Coldwater Cardinals on to a 19-6 victory over the Hillsdale Hornets. The evening's events were wit- nessed by hundreds of ~owns­ people and CHS alumni. Queen Nianne and her court reigned over the "Electric Circus."
