The Gate To The Future Any new experience can lead a person on a road of doubt. You don't stand alone! Everyone around has the same feelings and mixed emotions. The first day attending high school can seem like a cold plunge. Leaving the security of elementary school is hard for many to do. While crossing through the school gates, all of the nightmares that freshmen have imagined during the past week flood their minds . That first day nervous young students walk around with sweaty schedules in their hands. Some experience the fear of not being accepted by upperclassmen. Teachers say it is time for you to grow up. Everyone looks forward to meeting new people and especially seeing the familiar faces. There is some comfort knowing others are going through the exact same thing.
