East Ascension High School 1984 Yearbook (Gonzales, LA) - Full Access
Getting Involved at EA As well as a broad curriculum, East Ascension offers students a chance to pursue their individual interests. Students can be a part of many clubs: band, choir, Beta Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Key Club, FFA, and many other organizations. Students can enroll in different electives to further pursue their in– terests and broaden their knowl– edge. Classes are offered in speech, photography, agriculture, psychol– ogy, and industrial arts. Students frequently take time out from their many activities to spend some time with friends or to catch up on homework. Left to Right: Hollis Baker, Glenda Poleon, and Petula Beharry read our school newspaper. Band members practice for one of their spectacular shows. Mr. Gabe Landry discusses photography with Brad Lambert. Marc Malbrough and David Shackleford enjoy free time at lunch. Sean Dar– deau and Renee Tureau smile for the camera. 3
