Pep Rallies Show Students' Spirit, Loyalty to School East Ascension's pep rallies are always some- thing to remember. During football season, Fri- days are filled with excitement. Students cheer wildly in the bleachers, yelling proudly for their favorite football team, the Spartans. Classes al- ways compete against each other for the coveted spirit stick, or yell in unison to show the football team that the student body supports them all the way. Afterwards, the spirit is carried on in the mall, and down the halls are the echoes of, "Go, Big Blue." Teachers have a hard time calming students down after a morning of cheering, but no one really seems to mind the confusion pep rallies ere- ate. I Freshmen really show their spirit. Rhett Pe· tlte and Dean Braud are seen after a pep rally. Terri Tucker Is a loyal EA supporter. Chetta Glaze and John Davis talk about Frl· day's game.
