EA Homecoming Salutes All-American Beauties East Ascension's annual homecoming pep rally was held October 23, 1983. Shelly Lanoux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lanoux, was crowned queen of the homecoming festivities by Becky Wright, East Ascension's 1982 homecoming queen. That night at the game, the homecoming court was presented to the fans during the half– time show, a spectacular salute to America.
