Lady Spartans Take It to the Top The Lady Spartans of E.A. continued their dominance of girls' basketball. The Lady Spartans, led by Coach lwanna McGee, controlled all of their 6-AAAA foes enroute to a 20- 1 record. The team's only Joss came at the hands of Ham– mond. The Ladies went from there to capture the title of 6- AAAA District Champs. The 1983-84 Season ended in a playoff loss to Opelousas with a final score of 73-70.
