We Have The Spartan Spirit Come Along and Catch It Dressing up, shaving heads and excitement are all a part of the Spartan spirit. Even the teachers and coaches get caught up in all the fun . Pep rallies are the high point of every Friday during football season. Each pep rally is given a special theme. Students follow the theme by dressing up in outfits to fit the day. This year we had such themes as Hick Day, Hat Day, Punk Day, and Backwards Day. Everyone gets into the spirit, including the Leblanc special children, who attended a pep rally and sat with the football players. Like many football players, C.J. Kling shaved his head in hopes of inspiring good luck. Student participation during the pep rallies was extra ordinary. Denise Lambert and Vickie Madere participated in Hick Day by dressing country. Kristin Anderson dressed in her army fatigues to go on a gator hunt. The teachers and coaches got into the spirit this year. Mr. Braud painted his head with the help of Richard Hutto, Tim Poche, Kevin Babin, and Stefan Speligene. While Coach Raley and Coach Little went Lion hunting during the Capital pep rally . The spirit and excitement of an E.A. pep rally is great. If you haven't had a chance to attend one of our pep rallies, you are missing out on some real fun. It is an experience worth remembering because when you catch the Spartan Fever, you enjoy it.
