Charlie Allphin Expanding Classroom Walls What is one thing that makes all students excited about a school day? That's right folks, field trips. Most students agree that the best part of field trips is missing school. Another im– portant factor that makes field trips fun is get– ting to eat out. Often the bus will pull off at a fast food restaurant, but occasionally field trips are followed by a sit-down dinner. Going to interesting places is another fun thing about field trips. Some of these include plays and museums. Along with the good things come some bad parts of field trips. Instead of pulling up in a red convertible to your destination, you are transported in a large yellow bus that is usually filled to the max. Another dark side to field trips is that most of them aren't free . This means digging into the old piggy bank, or bumming money off mom or dad .
