Diane Batts gets ready to hose down a car. Promoting Scholarship N.H.S. National Honor Society is a very prestigious club that requires a 3.5 grade point average. The purpose of N.H.S. is to promote leadership and scholarship, to develop character, and to stimulate a desire to render service. During the year, N.H.S. has many fund raisers Including a candy sale and a car wash. The car wash money is donated to the Ministers' Christmas Project, which helps needy Individ– uals. The candy sale money Is used for an N.H.S. scholarship awarded to an outstanding N.H.S. member.
