PHS Publications Keep Students In The Know Deadline? AAH - we 1 re a little late. Very frequent words asked throughout the year by instructor Jim Benham. The yearbook and newspaper staffs met daily first and fifth hours to write 1 type and print pic- tures. The yearbook class was busy collecting ads and selling year- books 1 while Newspaper was keeping the school up to date with school activities 1 sports 1 editorials and bi-monthly Cardinal Booster. Maria Karns and J. Jones 1 edi- tors of the two staffs 1 with the su- pervision of Mr. Benham, were responsible for the final touches before the layouts were sent to the printers. The year got off to a slow start as everyone pushed their pencils at the last minute to once again meet those final deadlines.
