Golf Squad Experiences A Rebuilding Year The Plainville Golf Squad coached by Ron Schulte, had an- other fine year. Led by Junior golfer Mike Hargrave, the team brought home several medals and a few tro- phies. Many of the A-team golfers were Juniors and will be returning next year. The Seniors on this year 1 s team were Bruce Slimmer and Mason Jones. The competition for the team was great as many boys would break into the top si-1 for a meet only to be beat out the next time. When someone could not make it to a meet, Coach Schulte would not lose anything by bringing up the next man. Coach Schulte has coached golf here for a couple years and has brought success to the team. Again, as in many other sports, with good coaching and all the returning golfers, Plainville could eam a trip to state next year.
