Girl Tracksters Have Record Breaking Season The Plainville Girls Track Squad had a very successful season. With only Twelve members, the Cards still proceeded to break four school records. Cheryl Milam shattered the discus record while Sherri Ross set the new record in the 110 low hurdles. Deb McCune did an excellent job by breaking the old record in the mile run, which is the longest race the girls had. Finally, the 440 relay team consisting of Sherri Ross, Gay Skov, Louise Rempe , and Brenda Hake took several seconds off the previous school mark. Everyone of the girls involved in setting a re- cord will be participating next year as all of them are under- classmen. The girls had a fine showing throughout the year always ranking high in the team standing in var- ious meets. Lorrie Gosser was a surprise as she threw the shot around the school record, but could never quite do it in meet competition. The team could be league champs next year with all the returning letterwomen. BLECHA &SON Custom Combining Woodston, Kansas 912-994-6530
