With twelve members on the squad 1 Coach Palmer was free to substitute whenever possible. The depth of the bench enabled Coach to put in players that were all equally talented. Many games were won by a wide margin with an 87 to 32 whipping of Osborne in the Smith Center Tourney. Two of the team's four losses came during the Smith Center Tourney. The Cards were expect- ed to place high in the touma- ment, but two one- point losses sent them home in the double- elimination tourney. Several of these boys have the potential to be starters on the B- team next season. Someday they may lead a Plainville squad to a state tournament.
