Sexy Seniors And Sophomores Pulverize Palmer's Panthers With two vigorous weeks of practice, both girls' teams were ready for the big Powderpuff game . Stanley 1 s Sexy Sr. 1 s and Soph 1 s, coached by Mr. Stanley, felt that they held the victory all the way. Palmer's Pulverizing Panthers, coached by none other than Mr. Palmer himself, felt that their team had it in the bag. Unfortunately, the Panthers got bagged by the end of the first half when Stanley's team left the field, leading 22-8. During halftime King Kelly La- Duke and Queen Phyllis Kuhn were crowned. The attendents were Bob Plante, John Stahl, Ron Hrabe, Randy Weigel, Susan Abbott, Ro- berta Bjornstad, Diane Eng borg, and Brenda Hake . The two teams came back after halftime and a tough battle fol- lowed as each team gave their best. After three overtimes, Stan- ley's Sexy Sr.'s and Soph's won the game with a final score of 38- 36. The chain gang, composed of Miss Deines, Mrs. Carmichael, and Mrs. Friend, helped the Sen- ior referees officiate the night's game. The game was a Stuco-spon- sored event.
