All 200 members of the Block are joined together with a mutual purpose-backing the team. Hand motions, row stunts, trumpet calls, yells, white blouses and shirts, senior girls in yellow skirts, senior boys in white cords are some of the things that make Cheer Block the colorful organization that it is. But more im– portant than all of this is the feeling that each Block member has for the Irish and for the school. Cheer Block will always stand ready and waiting to cheer the Irish on to victory and to promote school spirit in all things.
