OURNEY "Victory! Victory! That's our cryl" On the night of January 12, 1957, the Pendleton Irish Varsity proved themselves to be the best of the four teams at the Pendleton Invitational Tourney. The victory was a great one for the Irish, enabling them to keep the trophy at Pendleton for the first ti~e since 1946. Lots of hard work on the part of the ballplayers and Coach Dan Dimich, plus the sore throats of many Cheer Block members pulled the Irish through. Their fine performance really gave the fans some– thing for which to RISE and CHEER. "They're our Irish!"
