The team would have done a better job if they would have had depth. It was this lack of it that hurt. Elgin's best games of the season were against East Aurora and Larkin. Their best offensive game was against Larkin when the team made 520 yards rushing and 24 first downs to beat Larkin by a score of 26-13. Elgin's best pass defensive game was against East Aurora, who completed none out of eight passes. ext was the game against \J est in which they completed only one out of nine attempts. The team this year had several bad breaks which caused them to have a losing season. How– ever, the boys on the team fought hard and played well. Tim Coleman (V), Dan Barrett (/V), Dan Brink, coach.
