Elgin High School 1964 Yearbook (Elgin, IL) - Full Access

Autographs in a yearbook bring back memories of old friends and good times. They also add a more per onal touch to the pictures and stories contained in the book. In years to come, the many signa– tures will mean even more. Looking back we will remember the fun we had here at EH . They will recall special friends not seen for years, e\·ents long forgotten. Jessica Youle gets a few parting comments from Mike Goodyear, Paul Grissom, and Gus Vaughan. The end of the school year holds mixed emotions for the Seniors. They are no longer members of the Class of '64, but separate individuals each going his or her own way. Some of them will be off to college in the fall· others will begin to earn their way in the business world. The purpose of their three years at Elgin High has been to prepare them for whichever they cho e to do. Good-byes for them will be hard. There will be some classmates they may never see again. However, this is a part of life and must be accepted. They will leave Elgin High, but take with them remem– brances of wonderful friends and three fun-filled years. 39 Although all farewells are not like thi.s, it illustrates the feelings of graduating Seniors.
