This )'tar Student Council Week offered a wide variety of ac– tivities for the student body to participate in. Activity Day began the week. Students wore tags for the different organizations to u•hich they belonged. Tuesday was Class Color Day and Wednes– day, Dress Up Day. For 25; students could purchase a Bermuda Day tag. This allou•ed them to u.ear bermudas during the school day. The tags, "Beat 'aperville," helped to foster school sptrit, and the money went to the scholarship fund. 31 On Friday, an assembly re– lating the history of Elgin High was held. At the con– clusion of the assembly the Class of '64 tt•as awarded the participation award.
