Scheduling and posing pictures is a big job. Organizations and other shots have to be ar– ranged ahead of time. The picture must be set up to show everything desired. Mo t students don t realize the work that goes into the publication of their yearbook. They pay their fee and ex– pect to have the book at the end of the year but putting out a yearbook takes a lot of work and co-operation. Dur– ing the urnrner the editor plans the theme and lay-outs for the book. When school begins, the staff members are given their assignments. The scheduling of enior pictures is quite a task since appointments must be made to overcome con– flicts. The lay-outs for the pages, which are done by the staff, include write-ups, captions and arrangement of pic– tures. Deadlines have to be met to assure completion at the specified time. After the pictures have been taken, they must be sorted out. The staff members select the pic– tures which will be used and crop them to fit the arrangement of the page.
