Everyone talked about the record this group was making under the coaching oi Lucien Martini and the preparation and experience they were gaining which would later strengthen the var ity group. This squad played not only the 'C" teams of vari– out chool , but al o their "B" teams. Of the ix games in which these dribblers were downed, ten points was the highest any team pulled ahead of them. Forwards for the cagers were Carter Moss, Bobby White, Jack Littleton, Reese Ma ey and Charlie Lang– ford. Holding down the center position wa either Jack Romeo or Was ell Pipkins, while doing the guarding for the squad were Barry Mitchell, Jim Hume and Mike Elliot. The type of ball the e boys played wa mooth and they had a well-balanced team. They worked well together, but there were some whose playing tood out. Reese Ma sey always seemed to be sweeping the back– board clean and Jim Hume . Jack Littleton and Barry Mitchell constantly made basket . Barry also fini hed the season a high corer. With team-work, thi team made a record of which to be proud.
